ERRE (pronounced “air) proposes a new type of power-dressing that celebrates the confident side of being feminine rather than mimicking its Eighties version of shoulder pads and overtly masculine tailoring.
The ERRE woman is a style-savvy and sophisticated career woman, who needs a flexible wardrobe that effortlessly meets the needs of her multifaceted lifestyle, by giving her a high-end range of powerful and exquisitely constructed garments.
The ERRE journey started with our mutual desire to develop a brand that caters for woman looking for quality wardrobe staples and investment pieces that can to be worn both on and off duty. Having met while both working as part-time fashion lecturers, and with many years experience in the fashion industry, our mutual vision of developing a “new kind of power-dressing for a new kind of woman” and our combined skills make us a formidable design team.
Between Natasha’s in-depth understanding of bridal and eveningwear and Carina’s experience in tailoring and menswear, we have all the skills necessary to develop womenswear that reinvents the traditional take on femininity without ever becoming menswear for women
ERRE officially launched its first collection, Autumn/Winter 2014, at South African Fashion Week, as part of the Renault New Talent Search Collection. ERRE’s debut collection set the tone with beautifully structured and tailored pieces that absolutely celebrate the female form. Our showstopper dress in this collection was one of this year’s Design Indaba’s Most Beautiful Object in South Africa nominations.
